Watched this in 2024. In most, if not all Souls games two handing your shield and blocking will give you an unknown amount of stability bonus aka it takes less stamina cost to block versus 1 handed blocking. Going into a higher bonfire ascetic will make the drop rates go higher up to Ascetic 8/NG+7 mass difficulty. So easier to farm stuff on higher difficulties. Likely to unique to DS2.

This video perfectly explains why ds2s grab hitboxes are seen as "bad" because people dont understand that the teleport into the animation only plays after the stagger animation of you getting hit is finished, which ends up making it look a lot more jankier than the other souls games that tp you immediately for the most part.

And when the world needed him most, he dissapeared.

This was my favorite souls channel

just go through the game staring down all the enemies as you parry them and dont even acknowledge their existence. Their souls aren't even worth any time.
